Fruitgrowing Equipment and Service – Srl was founded in 1975 in Ferrara (Italy) with the purpose to introduce and to develop new fruit varieties, protected by patent and/or trademark, at that time, the only one company to do such kind of business. On 1976 got from University of California the first exclusive license agreement for new strawberry patented varieties originated from the research centre of that prestigious University, that brought about a complete revolution in the European and Mediterranean Countries strawberry market for several decades. Afterwards Fruitgrowing Equipment and Service –Srl got many exclusive license agreements for new patented varieties not only for strawberry, but even for new patented fruit varieties, like apple, plum, peach, table grape, from other public and private research centre, foreign and Italian, as Cornell University, Sun World, Inter Plant Patent-Inc., C.R.A., New Fruits, Vitro Plant Vivai. Within 2012 and 2013, Fruitgrowing Equipment and Service – Srl got the exclusive license agreement for all the countries of the world, except China, of the new revolutionary red kiwi variety and of two new yellow kiwi varieties, early and late, from the Sichuan Provincial Academy of Natural Resource Sciences of Chengdu – Sichuan (China). Furthermore we signed two important cooperation agreements with “SHANGDONG FRESH GRAPE RESEARCH INSTITUTE” to promote and develop new table grape varieties and with “LIAONING ACADEMY OF STRAWBERRY SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY” to promote and to develop new strawberry varieties. In order to promote our business in China, we attended at important agricultural exhibition in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
