| Short description of the new kiwi variety, named “HFR 18” This variety is belong to the Actinidia Chinensis come from the Shifang county in the Sichwan province (China) in the Instutute of Prof. Li Mingzhang.HFR 18 has a peculiarity inflorescence, like Hayward with a good fertility, but is more early than Hayward. The shape of the fruit is flat-ovoid and the skin, without hair, is resistant to impact. The flesh marked “red” because the red party is around 40% of the flesh; the leftover of the flesh is green/yellow.The columella is soft and and the size average is 80/100 grams. The shelf life is 4/5 months in cold store. |
